The context below explains how the people of a certain city were persuaded by the Jews to partake in stoning Paul. They stoned him so badly that they thought they'd killed him. Paul survived to continue preaching the Gospel.
I really dislike complaining. After reading about the Apostle Paul, I can't complain and not be bothered by it. I can't hear complaints and not be bothered by them. What do we really have to complain about? Have you read the book of Job? And it's like, GOD's people think that Christians don't have to go through pain and suffering. Suffering for the sake of the Cross is an honor. It's a privilege. It's a blessing. Murmuring and complaining is what held the Israelites stagnant in the wilderness for 40 years.
May we learn from Scripture and complain no more.
