Signs and wonders were done by the hands of Paul and Barnabas in Acts 14:3. Then, in Acts 14:4, some of the people sided with Paul and Barnabas, while others sided with the Jews. Why didn't the entire multitude believe—they all witnessed signs and wonders right before their eyes? Interesting… All won't be saved. Everyone won't believe in JESUS. Although the glory of the GODHEAD can be clearly seen all around us, many will still refuse to believe in GOD. Hence Romans 1:20: "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"
The Bible states that JESUS healed all around HIM; it doesn't state however, that all around HIM also believed. ("When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:" -Matthew 8:16) CHRIST was crucified in hate. And the Pharisees were not the only ones that hated HIM. The people were the ones crying for Barabbas to be freed. ("And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:" -Luke 23:18) The point is: no matter how clear the picture is, people will see what they desire to see. No matter how proven the facts are, people will prefer their bias'. No matter how concrete the evidence is, belief will still be optional. It's a choice. Millions know that cigarets are bad for you. Millions know this. In fact, it's not too far of a stretch to say that every single individual who smokes, knows smoking isn't good for human beings. Yet they do it everyday. Truth will remain truth, even if no one believes it. And the truth is: JESUS CHRIST died for all, and only those who believe on HIM will be granted eternal life. For HIS very Life is eternal life indeed:
"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." -1 John 5:20
