Scripture Post #985: *LAYING ON OF HANDS*
Acts 6:6:
"Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them."

The Apostles of the Book of Acts laid hands on the new leaders of the business GOD was doing at that time, anointing them.
Scripture states *LAYING ON OF HANDS* in a very positive and spiritual way. But there are negative hands-laying practices that are spiritual as well (spirituality doesn't always hold a Godly connotation). Also, *nowhere* in Scripture can you find *anyone* *falling out* under the power of GOD because of hands being laid on them. I know many Christians believe that when hands are laid and people are falling down to the floor, barking like dogs, slithering like snakes, jolting electrically, spitting and sometimes vomiting, that it's the HOLY GHOST making them do that. But people in India under Yoga Instructors (or should I say, "ministers") do the same thing. Yoga isn't just for health. Yoga is spiritual. And the Kundalini Shaktipat (hands-laying practice of India) is a very spiritual and wicked practice that has bled over into many Churches. **I will state GOD's truth whether HIS truth offends many Church goers or not .** We mustn't adhere to that which isn't *proven*.
For Scripture states:
"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
- 1st Thess. 5:21
And this falling-out-laying-on-of-hands-thing isn't proven to be of GOD.
Laying on of hands is Biblical; falling out is not.
