Acts 5:39:
"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."

Context:
Acts 5:38: "And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:"
V. 39: "But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."
That which is of GOD *CANNOT BE OVERTHROWN*.
The above context contains the words of a Pharisee, named Gamaliel. And basically, the gist of what was going on was simply this: The council under the Chief Priest and certain Sadducees imprisoned the Apostles of JESUS CHRIST and sought to do them much harm. So, Gamaliel, a Pharisee, basically said to let the Apostles go. And that if what the Apostles were doing was of man, then it would come to an end. But if of GOD, than nothing would be able to stop it! This statement is very, very true. And is an excellent indicator as to if something is of GOD or not.
Let stuff play out—it'll tell of itself if it lasts or not—if it's of GOD or not.
