Scripture Post #967: *CLOSE-KNIT*
Acts 4:32:
"And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common."

The members of the early Church were so *CLOSE-KNIT* that no one called *anything* his or her own—they had all things common. They were all of one heart and of one soul. Sharing with others was no big deal for them. They all saw one another as basically the same person.
Can you imagine how this type of attitude would look today? Not getting offended when someone eats the food you saved yourself… Not getting upset when someone asks you for money… But instead taking great pleasure in the benefit of others. Wow.
Phil. 2:3: "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."
V. 4: "Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others."
