Scripture Post #898: *TURNED UNTO FABLES*

2nd Timothy 4:4: "And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

Disclaimer: The image used for this Scripture Post, in its original form, was from an image search engine. It is not an image of my own.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, unto Timothy, his son in the faith (1st Tim. 1:1-2).

Some turn their ears from the truth because the truth irritates them. The truth challenges. It confronts. It pierces. But it's true. For some, fables are more appealing. Fables are softer—not as harsh. Fables are fun, easy, enjoyable and more tolerable than the truth is at times. But fables are dangerous because they're not true. They're stories. Fairytales. Myths. Falsities. Inauthentic. Lies. We mustn't be *TURNED UNTO FABLES*, but rather, adhere to truth, no matter how difficult or unbearable it may feel when it hits our ears.

Do you want what's real, or what isn't?
