Scripture Post #859: *CONTINUE*

John 15:9: "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love."

In our Christian walk, we can loose track of where we've started in CHRIST, due to: distraction, succumbing to temptation, weariness, doubt, fear, worry, and so on. But we must *CONTINUE*. Continue in HIS love. Our faith begins with love. GOD HIMSELF is love (1st John 4:8). GOD gave HIS only begotten SON because of love (John 3:16). Love is the root. We can't continue in the faith, continue in the race, continue in anything, without 1st beginning in love. Without love we're paralyzed. We need love. Let us continue. 

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." 

1st John 4:8: "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
