Scripture Post #849: *THE COMFORTER*

John 14:26: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Disclaimer: The image used for this Scripture Post, in its original form, was from an image search engine. It is not an image of my own.

JESUS spoke these words to HIS Disciples. *THE COMFORTER* ("…which is the Holy Ghost…") came to CHRIST's Disciples after CHRIST's death, to comfort them. And from that point on, the COMFORTER has continued to be there for the Believer. The COMFORTER will bring all things to the remembrance of the Saints. But it is the Saint's responsibility to fill himself/herself up with the WORD in order to have something for the COMFORTER to bring back for the Saint to remember. We can't go without prayer, Bible-reading and fellowship with GOD, and expect the COMFORTER to just do HIS thing and take control when we want HIM to. It doesn't work that way. Are there any who are reminded to remember something that they've never been exposed to? So give the COMFORTER somethin' to work with. Spend time with GOD so that the COMFORTER can do HIS thing when you need HIM to.
