Scripture Post #828: *REQUITE PARENTS*
1st Timothy 5:4: "But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God."

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, unto Timothy, his son in the faith (1st Tim. 1:1-2).
Parents should be requited for their hard efforts in childrearing—especially *widows* and single mothers! Some parents (in the case where this Scripture is concerned—widows) have it worse than most when it comes to raising children, and they still make it work and never quit. When parents are requited, know that it "…is good and acceptable before God."
