Scripture Post #785: *LAZARUS PLOTTED AGAINST*

John 12:

10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

Lazarus, being raised from the dead, was plotted against by the Chief Priests to be put back in the grave from which he was raised. All because of JESUS CHRIST's attraction to lost souls—the Jews were losin' numbers because of CHRIST's miracles! Lazarus being raised from the dead, caused many of the Jews to leave the Chief Priests and believe on JESUS. This angered the Jews to the point where they desired not only JESUS murdered, but Lazarus murdered as well.
