Scripture Post #747: *OF GOD*

John 8:47: "He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God."

Those *OF GOD*, hear GOD. Many people speak of GOD that aren't even of GOD. Why listen? Why give ear to those who speak of what they know nothing about? If you don't spend time with GOD, don't pray to HIM, don't read your Bible, don't study to show yourself approved, then I'm not listening to you when it comes to spirituality or the things of GOD. Why? Because those not of GOD can't hear from GOD. And if you can't hear from GOD, what help can you give me concerning GOD? 

The spiritual leaders in your life should have a relationship with the GOD of the Bible.
