Scripture Post #722: *PLEASE GOD*

1st Thessalonians 4:1: "Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more."

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the Church of the Thessalonians (1st Thess. 1:1).

Paul taught the Thessalonians how to walk in the commandments of CHRIST (1st Thess. 4:2: "For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus."). So just as the Thessalonians were taught and walked accordingly, we should want to *PLEASE GOD* by walking out, or conducting ourselves according to the Christian doctrine we've been taught. In such that we abound more and more therein.
