Scripture Post #715: *NEVER LEARNED*

John 7:

14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

The Pharisees had all been taught by teachers and elders, but had never seen JESUS taught by anyone. This frustrated them because before JESUS, no one else had done this—to teach without having had an earthly master. JESUS spoke of GOD's doctrine, and was taught by no man, unlike the Pharisees. 

John 7:16: "Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me."
