Scripture Post #712: *MISSING YOU*

1st Thessalonians 2:17: "But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire."

Disclaimer: The image used for this Scripture Post, in its original form, was from an image search engine. It is not an image of my own.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the Church of the Thessalonians (1st Thess. 1:1).

Apostle Paul and those with him greatly desired to see the Thessalonians after being absent from them ("…in presence, not in heart…"). In other words: they were missing the Thessalonians and desired to see their faces! To be separated from those you love greatly can feel terrible. You know you're loved when you're missed. To be separated from a Church you founded, a Church you love, a Church with reciprocal beliefs as yours is such a painful situation to be in. But to reunite with such a Church, people, etcetera—how great a feeling that is. I know it felt good when Paul had finally reunited with his Church.
