Scripture Post #689: *WORK OF GOD*

John 6:

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

The crowd that JESUS performed miracles for, followed HIM, desiring to "work the works of God". And JESUS basically said that the *WORK OF GOD* was to believe—believe on JESUS, WHOM GOD the FATHER had sent.
