Scripture Post #662: *NAILED TO THE CROSS*
Colossians 2:
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Timotheus, to the Saints of Colosse (Col. 1:1-2).
The Ordinances of the Old Testament Law are "against us" and "contrary to us". Because we're under a new Covenant and have a New Testament to follow (Matt. 26:28; Heb. 8:13). The new and the old contradict one another, which is why JESUS nailed the Ordinances of the Old Testament Law to the cross and triumphed over "principalities and powers" for us!
Matt. 26:28: "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
Heb. 8:13: "In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away."
