Scripture Post #652: *WALK YE IN HIM*
Colossians 2:
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Timotheus, to the Saints of Colosse (Col. 1:1-2).
How can we say we've received CHRIST and not change? How can we remain the same after receiving something new? Walking out, or conducting yourself in what you've received is the proof that you've received it. Is it acceptable to receive a receipt for milk and eggs without receiving the actual milk and eggs? No. You *walk* out of the store with both the product and the receipt of the product. It's the same with GOD. You don't just talk the talk, you walk the walk—you *WALK YE IN HIM*!
Rooted: A tree without roots will fall/die. We can't walk anywhere in CHRIST without first being rooted in HIM. Roots run deep into the earth. We mustn't be surface-Christians, but Christians deep into the things of GOD.
Built Up: We must stand tall, being built up in CHRIST as we walk in HIM. If we're not built up enough in HIM with WORD and spiritual understanding, our walk in HIM will be a short one.
Stablished: If we aren't established in the faith, then what walk are we walking? Our walk must be "Stablished in the faith". A faith-walk is the only walk for the Believer to have.
"…As ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving." Not adjusting what we've been taught to cater to our comforts, but walking in CHRIST as we've been taught with thanksgiving. "Thank YOU, JESUS for what I've been taught. I'm going to walk in it, in YOU!"
