Scripture Post #636: *SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING*

Colossians 1:9: "For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;"

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Timotheus, to the Saints of Colosse (Col. 1:1-2).

Context:

Colossians 1:9: "For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;"

V. 10: "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"

V. 11: "Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;"

This is my prayer, using excerpts from this Scripture-Passage:

"LORD GOD, please fill me with the knowledge of your will, and with all wisdom and *SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING*. That I might walk worthy of YOU, LORD, unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of GOD. Strengthened with all might, according to YOUR glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. Amen."
