Scripture Post #600: *ABOVE EVERY NAME*

Philippians 2:

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Timotheus, to the Saints of Philippi, with the Bishops and Deacons (Phil. 1:1).

JESUS CHRIST:

Eph. 1:20: "Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,"

V. 21: "Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:"

V. 22: "And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,"

It is clear that JESUS is LORD—LORD of all. HE is highly exalted. None exist like HIM. None exist over HIM. JESUS CHRIST, SON of GOD, rules over all. Praise the Holy name of the LORD!

Psalm 150:6 (final verse of final psalm): "Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD."
