Scripture Post #574: *POWER OF HIS MIGHT*
Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul to the Saints of Ephesus (Eph. 1:1).
The *POWER OF HIS MIGHT* is in the Armor of the LORD. Which armor we are instructed to wear in the verses that follow. But focusing on this Scripture by itself stands powerful alone. Because it's HIS—the LORD's might that gives us strength. We are to "be strong in the Lord"; not in ourselves. We, the created, need the CREATOR. We, the Christian, need the CHRIST. We, the clay, need the POTTER. We, the follower, need the LEADER. We, the kept, need the KEEPER. And so on, and so on. Do we really think we can function without HIM? Do we really think we know what we're doing without GOD? How can we be strong without the LORD? We're *only* strong in the power of *HIS* might!
The Apostle Paul's Account Of CHRIST's Strength:
2nd Cor. 12:9: "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
V. 10: "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."
