7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul to the Saints of Ephesus (Eph. 1:1).
People are constantly being deceived with *VAIN WORDS*. And "because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." Take this whole acceptance of homosexuality thing for example. Highly esteemed people are speaking vain words and deceiving many into believing that homosexuality is good. But GOD calls it an abomination.
Lev. 18:22: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
And because of this abomination, GOD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. (Echo: "…For because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." Eph. 5:6.) By not being "partakers" (Eph. 5:7) with those who speak vain words of deception, we avoid the wrath of GOD (Eph. 5:6). It's not just with homosexuality. Any words in contradiction with the Bible are vain words, and words not to be accepted.
Gal. 1:8: "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
V. 9: "As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
People are going to speak things into the ears of many and deceive them. And the deception will sound convincing. But once those words are held in comparison to the words of the Bible, the Word of GOD, they'll be proven to be words of emptiness, meaninglessness and deceit. Vain words.
