Scripture Post #479: *UNFORGIVABLE*

Luke 12:10: "And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven."

The Pharisees blasphemed the HOLY GHOST in Luke 11:14-15 by  saying that JESUS cast "out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils". 

(Luke 11:14: "And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered."

V. 15: "But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.")

This was blasphemy because JESUS' power to cast out devils was "by the Spirit of God". The HOLY SPIRIT. 

(Matt. 12:28: "But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.")

This means, the Pharisees basically called the HOLY GHOST, Beelzebub. Which is blasphemy against the HOLY GHOST.
