Scripture Post #454: *CONSIDER YOURSELF*
Galatians 6:1: "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted."

Context: This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and all the brethren which were with him, unto the Churches of Galatia (Gal. 1:1-2).
Galatians 6:1
Amplified Bible (AMP):
"Brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also."
Galatians 6:1
Easy-to-Read Version (ERV):
"Brothers and sisters, someone in your group might do something wrong. You who are following the Spirit should go to the one who is sinning. Help make that person right again, and do it in a gentle way. But be careful, because you might be tempted to sin too."
*CONSIDER YOURSELF* when helping others out of their sin-problems. Because it would be sad if while you were trying to help pull somebody out of their sin, their sin wound up sucking and trapping you, yourself. We must be wise.
If you know you've been clean from alcohol for sometime now, but you still get tempted every now and then—then the bar might not be the place for you to try to pull your brother out of.
You may know that lust can have its way with you. Even if you leave its door cracked open a little bit—you realize that you may still be consumed by it. In this case, you may need to pray your friend out of the strip club. You know what I mean? We've got to have some sense and consider ourselves when helping others out of their sin.
