Context: This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and all the brethren which were with him, unto the Churches of Galatia (Gal. 1:1-2).

"…If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."
You're not the servant of CHRIST if you are a *MEN-PLEASER*! Be a GOD-pleaser instead. Look, you can't make everyone happy; it's not your job. Make GOD happy. Sure, love on as many folks as possible. But love doesn't mean doing what everybody tells you to do, or doing things unto people in place of GOD. Love doesn't mean that you go out of your way for people, yet at the same time, you're out of GOD's way of blessing too. We must put GOD before men. And most of the time, what GOD wants you to do, gets in the way of what others expect of you, or what they want you to do. You can't serve two masters. You can't please GOD & man sometimes. Because what GOD wants, in some cases, is the opposite of what people want.

Eph. 6:5: "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;"
V. 6: "Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;"
V. 7: "With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:"
V. 8: "Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free."
