The people of the land were *PRESSED FOR JESUS*! They wanted "to hear the word of God" from HIM. When you're pressed for something, or press for something, you want it badly. You're desperate for it. You long for it. You desire it greatly. We have things that we're pressed for. But JESUS should be at the very top of the list!
