Scripture Post #326: *ETERNAL THINGS UNSEEN*
2nd Corinthians 4:18: "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Context: This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Timothy, unto the Church at Corinth (2nd Cor. 1:1-2).
The things before our natural eyes: material things, people of flesh and bone, even hardship and trouble—these things are temporal. Whereas, GOD, GOD's promises, and certain workings of GOD, are *ETERNAL THINGS UNSEEN*. We can't see the spirit-realm. We can't see the SPIRIT of the LORD, or even our natural spirit. But the spirit-realm is very real; in fact, more real than the natural-realm (the realm we see with our eyes). In that, the natural-realm doesn't last forever, but the unseen spirit-realm does. The spirit-realm was here before the natural-realm was. And it'll be here after the natural-realm passes. GOD, Who is Spirit, and Who is 1st, spoke the natural world into existence. GOD is eternal. So we should much rather focus on GOD, Who is eternal, than the things in this world, which are temporal.
