Scripture Post #301: *PERSECUTION*
Mark 13:9: "But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them."

Context: JESUS was speaking to HIS Disciples about the signs of all things being fulfilled here (Mark 13:3-9).
The preacher who preaches persecutable sermons is at risk of *PERSECUTION*. Makes sense, doesn't it? But how many preachers in mainstream media do we have who the world hates? The world is supposed to hate you because they hated JESUS who is in you! John 15:18-19 (Words of CHRIST): "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."
V. 19: "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."
• The preacher who says that homosexuality is an abominable sin against GOD is at risk of persecution.
• The preacher who says that abortion is murder is at risk of persecution.
• The preacher who says that a president with a stance against Biblical GODly views is not the Christians candidate to vote for, is at risk of persecution.
• The preacher who says that JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, and all other religious beliefs are wrong, is at risk of persecution.
But who's preaching persecutable sermons? I mean, It seem like I here more about "GOD taking you to your next level," and "GOD's best awaits you," then anything else in Christian mainstream media! Who would persecute that? But it's clear that Scripture states that the *real* followers of CHRIST will be persecuted.
Mark 13:3: "And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,"
V. 4: "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?"
V. 5: "And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:"
V. 6: "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
V. 7: "And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet."
V. 8: "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows."
V. 9: "But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them."
