Scripture Post #266: *GOD SETS THE BODY*

1st Corinthians 12:18: "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him."

Context: This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Sosthenes, unto the Church at Corinth (1st Cor. 1:1-2).

GOD sets the members in the Body as it pleases HIM, not man. "Well, I think I'm called to Pastor." Did GOD set you up for pastoring? "I'm an Evangelist." Did GOD set you up to evangelize? I'm not meaning that you shouldn't tell folks about JESUS unless you have the title (gift) of Evangelist or Pastor. My meaning is: we shouldn't grab titles (gifts) we think we like, not having GOD's blessing on it. *GOD SETS THE BODY*. GOD must lead us in our Spiritual gifts—we don't just pick and choose.
