Scripture Post #175: *DEN OF THIEVES*
Matthew 21:
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! What happened to the kind, affectionate Jesus Who doesn't get mad at anybody?! Huh? In case you didn't know, *that* Jesus, doesn't exsist! And He never, ever did! We have made Jesus up in our heads and pictured Him as something He isn't. Jesus overthrew the table in the Temple, and put the people out of God's House in anger! Why have we adapted this false notion in our minds that Jesus can't possibly get mad? What? Why would Jesus or God be happy with Christians killing, stealing, lying, etc.? Do you honestly believe Jesus went into the Temple and casted the people out with a smile on His face? We should take heed to this Scripture, knowing what angers our Savior.
