Scripture Post #130: *LOVE FULFILLS THE LAW*
Romans 13:
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Note: This Scripture was from Paul, a servant & Apostle of Christ, to all that were in Rome (Rom. 1:1 & 7).
Love works no ill to his neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law. Love fulfills the law because in love you can't steal, in love you can't kill, in love you can't covet or break any law. Love works no ill -- it works nothing evil to anyone. You can't disobey any of God's commandments or laws in love.
