Scripture Post #76: *AUTHORITY*
Romans 9:
19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Note: [This Scripture was from Paul, a servant & Apostle of Christ, to all that were in Rome: Rom. 1:1 & 7]
My interpretation:
Verse 19: You then say to me, "Why does God find fault with some? Who has resisted God's will that God would find fault with them?"
V. 20: No. That's not it. Who is man to question GOD? Shall he that's formed say to HIM that formed him, "Why did YOU make me this way?"
V. 21: Doesn't the POTTER have power over the clay: of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
GOD has ultimate authority and I'll praise HIM no matter how things seem.
